IRD or ImmuNet Research Day is an annual student organized conference designed to help students develop and improve their presentation skills through oral and poster presentations. It builds a perfect platform for exchanging ideas and sharing the latest research in the fields of Immunology, Virology, Microbiology, Cell Biology and Medical Research. IRD evolved from the ImmuNet Retreat, in order to connect the University of Edmonton with the Universities of Calgary and Saskatchewan to exchange scientific knowledge and build up a future network for cooperation. In addition, IRD will feature a keynote speaker whose experience and scientific knowledge will help to guide the next generation of successful researchers. Click here for more info.
If you would like further information on the ImmuNet Research Day please contact the Chair of the organizing committee Dr. Verena Bachmann
